Is it me or does Jermaine not get it? Apparently any song he sings will get the full-on Jermainification, because he can only pull it back SO MUCH. It was murdering me, watching him perform this classic Marvin Gaye song, the lyrics of which, to quote Wikipedia's entry, are:
"told from the point of view of a Vietnam War veteran returning to the country he had been fighting for, and seeing nothing but injustice, suffering and hatred."
Wow, and he was smiling like he was sealing the deal on some booty the whole time.Please, Jermaine, from now on only sing about your own awesomeness, so we know it will be a subject of deep meaning for you.
