Just saw this pic of Carly (I believe it was scanned from Star Magazine) online and thought I'd share it with you - here's Idol's Carly Smithson back in the day, when she was just a wee Irish lass selling sausages for Denny's! I think this is the same look in her eyes she had when Simon made the snarky comment to her at her AI7 audition, minus the sausage smile :)
