Adam Lambert: I Wonder How the Idol Machine Will Deal With This One?

MJ's Blog, a popular Idol Blog that I check into from time to time. Reported a story on one Mr. Adam Lambert. Idol's resident rocker is seen above smooching with a rather colorful young man. MJ wonders, as do I, how the Idol machine will deal with this dramz . . . IF it is true that Rocker Adam enjoys the love that dare not speak its name, then will it affect how America votes. In my memory of Idol gone by, I seem to think that we've never had an OUT finalist . . . we've had finalists who came out afterwards (See R.J. Helton, Jim Veraros, and of course, Clay Aiken) . . . but none that I can remember that were out on the show. Let me know what y'all think about how the Idol Machine will deal with this development.

Clay Aiken Is Gay!

So, in news that is a little bit, well, not breaking, Clay Aiken has come out of the closet. He has confirmed what most people already thought . . . on the cover of People Magazine. Click the link to read just one of the many stories.

Clay Aiken makes . . . a baby? Que?

Babble.Com is reporting that the Clay Aiken is involved in getting someone preggers . . . Now, let that sink in for just a brief moment . . . . And go . . . So, apparently he did not actually directly fertilize said egg, but provided his fertilizer for the carrier of said egg so that fertilization could ensue. I'm sure there will be more updates on this one soon.
What do y'all think of this interesting turn of events?

1500 Hits, Y'all!

I see that our little counter has eclipsed the 1500 mark. So, to celebrate, I thought we would kick it a little old school. Back in the day, the Gaiken, er, um, I mean Mr. Clay Aiken was one of mine and L's favorites. Since then, I wax and wain on my opinion of him; however, at the time, we were definitely ticket holders of the Clay Train. With that in mind, I'm posting a clip to commemorate our 1500th. This performance is probably one of my Top 5 all time Idol performances. So, without further ado, may I present one Mr. Clay Aiken from the AI 2 finale, singing (with full idol choir in tow) "Bridge Over Troubled Water". Enjoy, y'all!
